CIVIL TECHNICIAN

The Mid-level Civil Construction Technician supports the supervision and technical control of civil works at bases, terminals, and pipeline corridors, ensuring compliance with designs, technical standards, and QHSE requirements, focusing on quality, schedule, cost, and operational safety. Additionally, acts on-site to guarantee the quality and safety of services provided. * Supervise foundations, formwork, reinforcements, concrete pouring, steel structures, masonry, drainage, paving, and technical buildings (valve rooms, substations, technical rooms). * Review designs, calculations, and specifications; issue RFIs and record deviations/pendencies; update as-built drawings. * Perform technological control (slump tests, test specimens, monitoring fck), dimensional inspections, and release work fronts. * Verify material storage, handling, and traceability; request testing when applicable. * Monitor physical progress indicators and measurements, support S-curve development and progress reports. * Act in QHSE: JSA, PTW, safety talks, area inspections, incident reporting, PPE/EPI verification, and critical work front checks. * Coordinate interfaces with electrical, mechanical, instrumentation/automation, and procurement teams to prevent interferences. * Support pre-commissioning, acceptance checklists, and closure of civil punch lists. * Conduct measurements and surveys on civil construction projects. * Assist in the development of architectural and structural designs. * Monitor construction schedules, verifying deadlines and milestones. * Supervise construction execution, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards. * Conduct site inspections to identify potential issues and propose solutions. * Prepare technical reports on project progress and any non-conformities. * Participate in meetings with engineering and architectural teams to align activities. * Guide and supervise work crews in performing specific tasks. * Maintain contact with suppliers and service providers to ensure adequate supply of materials and labor. * Ensure worksite safety by guiding proper use of PPEs and safe practices.
