The candidate may also be considered for involvement in other CIDACS projects, contingent upon strong performance and availability of funding. The fellowship is paid in accordance with Fiocruz’s Support Foundation (FIOTEC) Fellowship Policy. It is emphasized that the selected candidate will undergo an initial 3 (three)-month adaptation and evaluation period. **Fellowship Commitments at CIDACS** * Commitments will be defined through a Work Plan and Activity Schedule established by the research project * Full dedication to the research project * Consult the CIDACS/FIOCRUZ-BA Project Coordinator and partners before accepting any financial support from any other public or private funding source for research on similar topics * Refrain from modifying the project (initial plan, timelines, etc.) without prior consent from the team * Submit scientific reports and resource utilization reports within deadlines specified in the Work Plan, accompanied by requested documentation * Refrain from leaving the institution where the research project is conducted without obtaining explicit authorization from the CIDACS/FIOCRUZ-BA Project Coordinator and partners, via a justified request submitted by the supervisor/mentor * The restriction in the preceding item does not apply to: * Participation in courses relevant to the research project underlying the fellowship, lasting less than one month; * Attendance at scientific or technological meetings, with or without paper presentations. * Acknowledge CIDACS/FIOCRUZ-BA in all outputs (articles, books, abstracts presented at meetings, and any other publication or dissemination format) that result, wholly or partially, from the fellowship granted by CIDACS/FIOCRUZ-BA. * Also acknowledge any public or private funding sources that may exist; * If the research project supported by the fellowship has received financial support from any other public or private funding source, the researcher commits to explicitly acknowledging such support—including clear identification of its source—in all dissemination formats mentioned in the preceding item; * Ensure appropriate protection of intellectual property rights arising from the project supported by CIDACS/FIOCRUZ-BA and other project partners. CIDACS conducts studies and research based on interdisciplinary projects grounded in the linkage of large-scale datasets to expand understanding of social and environmental determinants and policies affecting population health.
