Join Nexa and be part of a mining company that moves with the world! **Responsibilities and attributions** * **Planning and Support:** Provide short- and medium-term support to mine planning, ensuring operational continuity and efficiency; * Standards and Meetings: Participate in meetings with mine operations, ensuring compliance with established hydrogeological standards; * **Drilling Campaigns:** Plan and supervise hydrogeological drilling campaigns and describe drill core samples; * **Preparation of Maps and Profiles:** Produce detailed hydrogeological maps and cross-sections; * **Data Management:** Manage the hydrogeology database and perform geological modeling of karstified structures; * **Assessments and Inspections:** Weekly assessment of hydrogeological conditions, conducting gallery inspections and structural mapping; * **Environmental Monitoring:** Conduct hydrogeological monitoring to meet environmental requirements, as well as prepare comprehensive reports; * **Planning New Areas:** Evaluate new areas and monitoring techniques for better understanding of water behavior; * **Interface with Consultants:** Act as the main contact with external consultants and accompany visits, inspections, and authorities in hydrogeology areas; * **Development of Procedures:** Develop and review specific procedures for the hydrogeology area. **Requirements and qualifications** * Degree in Geology or Geological Engineering; * Proven experience in Hydrogeology; * Knowledge of Leapfrog, Datamine, and ArcGIS (Intermediate); * Office Suite (Intermediate); * Knowledge of HGA, AutoCAD, and Feflow; * Experience in hydrogeology applied to mining projects; * Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental standards and practices in mining; * Intermediate English and Spanish desirable; * Availability to reside in Vazante/MG. **Additional information** * Competitive salary; * Health insurance; * Dental plan; * Life insurance; * Meal allowance; * Shuttle transportation; * Profit and Results Participation (PPR); * Discounts with partners; * Development programs; * Inclusive and diverse work environment. ***Nexa believes in promoting a plural environment where everyone feels comfortable and welcome to be themselves.*** We are one of the largest zinc producers in the world!
