Join Nexa and become part of a mining company that moves with the world! **Responsibilities and attributions** * Plan and conduct geological activities, ensuring achievement of area goals. * Optimize methods and processes, advising management in decision-making. * Propose technological improvements to increase competitiveness and reduce costs. * Analyze and validate geological models, mappings, and databases. * Describe drill core samples and generate information for grade models and estimations. * Evaluate mining faces, perform reconciliations, and ensure data quality and reliability. * Integrate Geology and Mining operations, also participating in area budgeting. * Develop technical scopes for hiring specialized services. * Conduct resource modeling, estimation, and geometallurgical characterization studies. * Issue periodic reports tracking performance indicators and results. **Requirements and qualifications** * Degree in Geology; * Solid experience in mine geology, drilling, geological modeling, and resource estimation. * Experience in large-scale mining and integration of geological data into mine planning. * Knowledge of geological modeling software (Datamine, Vulcan, Leapfrog or similar). * Experience in hydrogeology applied to mining projects. * Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental standards and practices in mining. * Intermediate English and Spanish skills desirable. * Availability to reside in Vazante/MG. **Additional information** ***Nexa believes in promoting a diverse environment where everyone feels comfortable and welcome to be themselves.*** We are one of the largest zinc producers in the world!
