Don’t miss this chance to advance and contribute to building the mining that changes with the world! \#vempranexa \#pluralidadeDescribe the job opening here **Responsibilities and Duties** * Manage involved work teams, as well as ensure full utilization of technical\-technological and material resources, aiming to secure project execution and implementation of annual investment plans for industrial and/or environmental projects, within timelines, quality standards, safety requirements, and at the lowest possible cost. * Ensure development, implementation, and support of action plans with production areas, contributing to product quality. * Provide advisory support to company units, offering technical clarifications regarding mineral and physicochemical processing methods, contributing to sound investment decisions. * Assign tasks and support management programs, ensuring development and implementation of the operating and capital budget for the area. * Develop projects to improve operational processes across production areas, ensuring achievement of established targets. * Manage technical and financial feasibility studies for process development, aiming to ensure optimal plant operational performance. * Harmoniously sustain the interface between mines and the smelter, pursuing continuous improvements with an integrated view of the entire production process—from extraction through to product delivery to the customer—ensuring development and implementation of the operating and capital budget for the area. * Develop projects focused on operational excellence and business competitiveness. * Manage, monitor, and prioritize costs using electronic spreadsheets, ensuring adherence to budgeted values. * Validate process-area improvements aimed at optimizing equipment production and crushing, flotation, grinding, and filtration circuits. * Manage and monitor development and implementation of action plans with production areas. * Immediately report all unsafe conditions and accidents to the immediate supervisor, enabling prompt and effective corrective actions. * Perform other routine or specific, ad-hoc activities and projects, as directed by the immediate supervisor, consistent in nature and complexity with the role. * Fulfill, monitor, and evaluate, jointly with HR Management, area processes—including team selection, training, and motivation. * Complete scheduled training on general norms and operational procedures defined in the Company’s Management System, ensuring proper activity performance and contributing to maintaining certifications and operational results. * Comply with health, safety, environment, and quality obligations, instructions, schedules, and training, as established by company norms and procedures. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering. * Postgraduate degree in mineral processing, experience executing geometallurgical projects. * Advanced English proficiency. **Additional Information** ***Nexa believes in fostering a plural environment.*** We are one of the world’s largest zinc producers!
