Job Summary: The Pavement Engineer ensures the quality and durability of the highway network, working on project design, monitoring analysis, and technical support to optimize resources and guarantee highway performance. Develop technical solutions for pavement distresses The Pavement Engineer is responsible for the technical management of the highway network. The professional ensures pavement quality and durability by performing project design, analyzing monitoring data, and providing technical support for construction and rehabilitation works. The focus is to optimize resources and ensure highway performance in accordance with technical and contractual standards. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform and validate designs for flexible and rigid pavements (new projects and rehabilitations). * Analyze functional and structural highway monitoring reports (IRI, FWD, wheel path, etc.). * Monitor and audit technological control of asphalt materials, soils, and aggregates. * Develop technical solutions for pavement distresses. * Manage pavement performance indicators and propose preventive or corrective interventions. * Prepare technical opinions and managerial reports to support decision-making. **Requirements and Qualifications** **ESSENTIAL FOR THIS POSITION:** * Completed Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; * Active registration with CREA; * Proficiency in pavement defect survey methodologies (DNIT PRO\-05, 06, 07\) (DNIT 061, 062\); * Solid knowledge of materials technology (Asphalt Concrete/CBUQ, binders, soils); * Experience interpreting laboratory and field tests; * Advanced Office suite (Excel for data analysis). **ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (PREFERRED):** * Postgraduate degree in Transportation Infrastructure, Geotechnics, or Pavement Engineering; * Knowledge of Pavement Management Systems (PMS) and HDM\-4; * Prior experience with highway concessionaires or specialized consulting firms. **Additional Information** Market-competitive salary; Meal allowance; Health insurance extended to dependents; Dental insurance extended to dependents; Life insurance; Childcare assistance; Profit-sharing program (PLR); Private pension plan; Day\-Off; Gym allowance; Partnership agreements with secondary (EJA), higher education, and postgraduate institutions; English language school partnership; Sports incentive program; Pharmacy partnership; Psychological support; Employee referral program.
