Join this team! **COME TRANSFORM LIVES—INCLUDING YOUR OWN.** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Key challenges as ASSISTANT MEDICAL PROFESSOR I – SURGICAL CLINIC III – ESTÁCIO JUAZEIRO DO NORTE MEDICAL SCHOOL – IDOMED include:** * Serving as the primary agent in implementing our educational institutions’ pedagogical proposals, facilitating the learning process, fully delivering the course syllabus—including the scheduled number of classes—and continuously stimulating students’ interest in study, reflection, and the pursuit of new knowledge; • Appropriately utilizing available teaching materials and encouraging students to consult discipline-related bibliographic resources—including books and journals in the library—to foster critical and reflective learning; • Adhering to deadlines established in the academic calendar and fulfilling all tasks requested by the respective course coordinator; * Recording student attendance, lesson content, academic activity outcomes, and other curriculum-related information via electronic gradebook within timelines defined in the academic calendar; * Contributing to preparatory actions for the National Student Performance Exam (ENADE); * Advising students on their undergraduate thesis projects; * Employing active learning methodologies and the flipped classroom model in teaching. **Requirements and Qualifications** **We seek professionals with:** * Academic qualification: **SPECIALIZATION, MASTER’S DEGREE, AND/OR DOCTORATE;** * Mandatory undergraduate degree/specialization: **MEDICINE;** * Strong communication skills, ability to relate to students, adaptability, and flexibility; * Up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge relevant to the subject matter; * Proficiency in Microsoft Teams; * A current Lattes Curriculum Vitae is mandatory; outdated CVs constitute grounds for disqualification. * Note: Your preferred placement will be at the campus where you are hired, and your availability must remain consistent with that campus. **Additional Information** We believe in the excellence of our teaching and therefore value graduates from our own institutions during our selection processes.
