Skill development and acquisition of new knowledge ### **Job Title** Software Test Automation Engineer \- Senior Test Analyst ### **Job Description** **Software Test Automation Engineer \- Senior Test Analyst** You will join the Software Research and Development team in Varginha/MG — a globally operating team with members across multiple countries including Germany, Brazil, China, the United States, India, and others. You will work directly within the team responsible for testing medical device software, specifically in the Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) area (currently focused on general and obstetric multi-parameter monitors). **Your role:** * Execute manual and automated test cases as specified in test plans created by senior team members, ensuring all tests are conducted accurately and thoroughly. * Record detailed test results, including any defects or anomalies identified during testing, and report these findings to the senior test team for further analysis. * Conduct regression testing on new software versions to ensure recent modifications do not negatively impact existing functionality, following guidance provided by senior testers. * Log identified defects into the bug tracking system, providing clear and concise descriptions, and update defect status as issues are resolved. * Perform retesting of software after bug fixes to confirm successful resolution of issues and verify no new problems have been introduced, thereby ensuring software stability and quality. **You are the right candidate if you have:** * A completed bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, or related fields. * Strong analytical skills, high initiative, a mindset of continuous improvement, and a focus on meeting the needs of our customers and end users. * A consistent desire to acquire new knowledge and develop skills. * **Intermediate English proficiency preferred** * Preferred Qualifications + Prior experience in software development and/or testing + Knowledge of BDD and test automation tools (Cucumber, Gherkin / SpecFlow) + Proficiency in C\+\+, C\#, Python, YAML, JSON + Familiarity with tools such as Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Pipelines, and Git + Prior experience with requirements engineering and test management tools **How We Work Together** We believe we generate greater impact when working together rather than separately.
