Payroll Specialist

**Main Responsibilities:** * Responsible for handling all payroll routines for units in Brazil, ensuring legal compliance, accuracy of information, and integration between local and global systems. Main duties include: * Execute processes related to hiring, termination, payroll, retroactive payments, vacations, various calculations, social charges, and other Personnel Department routines. * Maintain the payroll system by entering worked hours, benefits, earnings, deductions, salaries, overtime, and other necessary information for accurate payroll processing and subsequent report generation. * Prepare and submit legal obligations (DIRF, RAIS, CAGED, SEFIP), including data preparation and import, tax calculations, and timely submission according to deadlines set by relevant authorities. * Calculate vacations, allowances, and other related items, recording leaves and absences in the system in accordance with labor and social security legislation. * Work with payroll system consultants on implementing improvements, version upgrades, and integrations between global and local systems. * Generate consolidated management reports by areas and units to support decision-making. * Act as company representative in labor lawsuits, attending expert evaluations and providing support to the legal team when necessary. * Perform payroll account reconciliations with accounting accounts and internal systems. * Create payment obligations in SAP and perform bank postings. * Support internal and external audits, ensuring maintenance of controls required by SOX. * Review payroll process checklists and request user creation in the system when applicable. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. * Solid experience in Personnel Department and Payroll operations. * Proficiency in the Sênior system. * Experience with payroll provisions and audits. * Knowledge of accounting reconciliations (preferred). * Proficiency in Windows environment tools. * Advanced English (preferred).
