Focus on food quality and safety Bourbon Gastronomia is seeking a Pastry Assistant to join the team at Bourbon Resort Atibaia, located in Atibaia \- SP. Join the team that values excellence in customer service, offering menus from the world's most renowned cuisines. This professional will assist the Pastry Chef and Baker in daily tasks and workplace organization, ensuring all departmental activities are carried out according to the company's established quality standards, complying with internal and external regulations and procedures, as well as adhering to Bourbon Hospitality's general policies. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist in dessert plating decoration for events. * Maintain adequate stock levels in the area, performing daily inventory control. * Assist with general department routines and colleagues. * Organize the department and cold room. * Handle and prepare jams and fruits. * Assist in coffee break setup, following product requests. * Be responsible for cooking and cooling processes, in compliance with health surveillance requirements. * Collect products from the Warehouse, verifying and signing requisitions, then delivering them to the Pastry Kitchen. * Assist in bread production, following defined recipes, to ensure availability for meals. * Suggest improvements and implementations to enhance departmental efficiency. * Verify food expiration dates and quality by checking identification labels, ensuring no item exceeds its usage date. * Assist in preparing juices and desserts, following defined instructions. * Prepare doughs for the next shift, strictly following recipes. * Stay updated on customer service techniques, safety norms, and procedures. * Perform other duties related to this position. REQUIREMENTS: * Knowledge of food handling and food safety. * Customer- and results-oriented mindset. * Team spirit and sense of urgency. * Time management skills. * Commitment and organizational skills.
