Job Summary: Production Assistant I responsible for handling and identifying materials, ensuring quality, safety, and organization throughout the production process. Key Highlights: 1. Maintenance of the workplace and equipment in accordance with safety standards **Position: Production Assistant I** **Job Description:** Handle and identify customer-owned materials, maintain proper identification, and ensure quality and compliance with pre\-requisites and specifications. Adhere to internal Safety regulations and other Company rules to ensure conditions that eliminate or minimize risks of occupational accidents and diseases. **Responsibilities:*** Handle, sort, and maintain product identification during the production process using forklifts or other available material handling equipment; * Perform the following production process stages: * Prepare materials for machine input; * Flip pallets (where applicable); * Remove materials from the machine and prepare for output; * Organize product storage, observing identification, ease of location, and handling; * Verify packaging and product containment status at all process stages; * Maintain internal good practices routines to ensure preservation of customer products; * Initiate non\-conformance reports when necessary; * Perform loading, pallet flipping, and unloading of products from the machine as required, under guidance from the Shift Supervisor or Irradiator Operator; * Maintain and care for equipment by performing basic checks (tires, oil, electrical components, brakes, etc.) and requesting maintenance services when needed, while ensuring cleanliness; * Clean and maintain a clean workplace and internal transport and handling equipment; * Assist with other tasks assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Process Supervisor; * Propose continuous improvement actions in the workplace; * Comply with all applicable safety regulations. **Qualifications:*** Completed High School education. **Special Requirements:*** None required. **Required Training:*** None required.
