Welding Execution** * Perform welding operations using different processes (MIG, MAG, TIG, coated electrode, submerged arc, among others), as required by the project. * Prepare, assemble, and join metallic parts according to technical drawings and specifications. * Adjust welding parameters (current, voltage, gas flow rate, etc.) according to material type. **2. Reading and Interpretation of Technical Documents** * Read and interpret mechanical drawings, isometric drawings, WPS (Welding Procedure Specification), and other technical instructions. * Understand and comply with applicable quality requirements for the work. **3. Material and Workplace Preparation** * Perform cleaning, beveling, alignment, and positioning of parts prior to welding. * Select appropriate equipment, consumables, and tools. * Organize the workplace to ensure optimal operating conditions. **4. Quality Control** * Conduct visual inspection of welds and self-monitor the work. * Adhere to qualification parameters as specified in applicable standards (ASME, AWS, NR-13 where applicable). * Report non-conformities and assist in corrective actions. **5. Safety and Regulations** * Comply with safety regulations, including proper use of PPE (welding helmet, gloves, appropriate clothing, etc.). * Maintain welding equipment in good working condition and request maintenance when necessary. * Comply with PCMSO, PPRA, and applicable NR regulations (NR-18, NR-34, NR-12, NR-6). **6. Operational Support** * Assist with handling, cutting, assembly, and preparation of metal structures when required. * Collaborate closely with assemblers, mechanics, and other teams. * Record activities and report progress to supervision.
