Job Summary: A welding professional performs welding and cutting operations, prepares equipment, operates CNC machines, finishes parts, and ensures workplace safety and organization. Internal and external work, including client site visits Industry seeks a Junior External Welder in Atibaia. **Responsibilities:** Perform welding and cutting in various positions (flat, horizontal, and vertical) using electrodes, manual machines, and CNC equipment according to established technical parameters. Prepare and configure welding and cutting equipment. Conduct tests to ensure process quality and perform assembly and adjustment of fixtures. Operate CNC and automated equipment for production, repair, or maintenance of parts and components, feeding workstations with raw materials using resources such as overhead cranes, hoists, and forklifts. Inspect parts, interpret technical drawings, select appropriate weld types, and prepare surfaces per procedures. Finish parts (grinding, sanding, fitting), perform cutting and gouging using plasma, oxy-fuel, and graphite methods, and maintain production records and operational reports. Maintain equipment and workplace cleanliness and ensure individual and collective safety by using appropriate PPE. Sort and dispose of waste, participate in internal and external tasks (including client site visits), and operate overhead cranes when required. Keep the work area organized and contribute to safeguarding company assets. Previous experience as Metal Structure Assembler, Maintenance Welder, Welding Operator, or Welding Technician may indicate suitability for some activities of this position.
