We as a growth oriented market leader invite you to join us on our journey from good to great! **IT Field Service / Desktop Support Technician** **Objective:** To provide Onsite Desktop Support to users located at NORMA Group facilities in Michigan **Primary Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:** PC Deployment, support, etc. – scriptrunner, PXE Boot, etc. Cell phone deployment, support, etc. – InTune, experience with 3rd party providers like VCOM, etc. Expérience with ServiceNow, SCCM, InTune, etc. for asset management, etc. Deployment of Print Servers, Printers, Scanners (Zebra) D365 support experience Hands and eyes deployment support of servers, WAP appliances, Routers, Switches, etc. (not the configuration of, the physical deployment of – the configuration of the server belongs to the server admin, the configuration of the WAP appliance belongs to the network engineer) Data center deployment knowledge of racks, cooling, generator, fire suppression, etc. knowledge Experience with best practice cabling deployment Excellent customer service – ability to handle agitated users, ability to train users on using software, PC’s, Cell phones, etc. Ability to self manage a project from start to completion – for example, a CCTV solution to be deployed – put together requirements, go through funding approval and vendor selection, work with vendor on deployment, support, hand off to users, etc. Experience with the setup of Mobile carts Ability to document process and procedures, physical audits, clean up and disposal of old inventory, etc. efficient with Microsoft office – ie, if comparing excel sheets from various data sets, the ability and knowledge to use something like a vlookup to efficiently compare the data between the sheets ***At NORMA Group, we believe that diverse perspectives drive innovation.
