Join the team that values excellence in service, offering menus from the world's most renowned cuisines. This professional will be responsible for ensuring the dining room is ready for service, welcoming guests, taking orders, serving dishes and beverages, and overseeing the activities of busboys and waitstaff. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Escort guests to their tables courteously, remaining attentive to any needs while adhering to established service standards. * Supervise the completion of departmental control spreadsheets, maintaining records of daily activities. * Delegate tasks according to daily demand, considering staff schedules, and oversee restaurant setup to ensure compliance with established cleanliness and organization standards, intervening as necessary. * Provide customer service by presenting menus, explaining dish and beverage features, suggesting options, guiding guests in their selections, and accurately entering orders. * Identify and forecast purchasing needs for supplies, equipment, and operational materials, submitting appropriate purchase requisitions and orders to the procurement and warehouse departments. * Suggest implementations and improvements to enhance departmental efficiency, validating proposals with supervisors. * Supervise and execute activity closure, including cash register closing procedures when required. * Supervise and prepare the department for the next shift. * Ensure staff uniform compliance, personal hygiene, and professional appearance; conduct training and supervise service delivery to guarantee service quality and customer satisfaction; manage direct reports jointly with supervisors. * Adhere to hotel service standards, stay updated on menu items and procedures, and follow food hygiene and safety practices. * Perform cleaning and storage of equipment, utensils, and foodstuffs per established standards, and arrange for or perform polishing of used equipment. * Delegate responsibilities and monitor team performance, providing ongoing feedback and guidance. * Continuously seek opportunities to increase departmental productivity, reduce costs, and maximize efficient use of resources under responsibility. * Identify and propose initiatives that strengthen the brand internally and externally; * Pursue initiatives enabling process and activity optimization within the department, aiming to reduce operational risks, scale operations, and improve internal customers' experience. * Maintain workplace conditions, materials, proper equipment usage, and confidentiality of information; * Perform other duties of equivalent complexity, as required by the department/company.
