Job Summary: We are seeking a professional to coordinate, lead, and develop the backend and frontend development team, responsible for validating architecture and code, defining standards, and supporting the technical roadmap. If you match this profile, click **Apply** at the bottom of the page. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Coordinate, lead, mentor, and develop the core solution (ERP) backend and frontend development team; * Validate and approve developed architecture, technical specifications, and code (code review); * Define development standards and best practices in collaboration with internal and external Tech Leads; * Support technical roadmap definition in partnership with business areas and corporate architecture; * Oversee external vendors/partners (outsourced squads or consulting firms) to ensure practice standardization; * Act as guardian of solution quality and scalability (technical design, performance, integrations); * Conduct technical rituals (guilds, chapters, collective code reviews) to align knowledge across the team. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education** * Completed undergraduate degree in IT (Information Technology, Systems Analysis, Data Processing, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields) or any engineering discipline; * Advanced English (C1) — ability to read technical documents and participate in technical meetings with international colleagues. **Proven Experience** * Proven experience in people management and technical leadership of agile teams (Scrum/Kanban); * Solid experience as a backend developer in high-complexity projects involving large, robust, and structured systems (e.g., core/ERP/CRM systems); * Solid experience in full-stack web system development; * Solid experience developing and maintaining systems using Java (versions 11 and 17 or higher). **Hard Skills** * Advanced knowledge: * In web frontend, including but not limited to: **React.Js, HTML, CSS, Javascript**; * In backend development using **Java** (primarily Spring/Hibernate); * In design patterns, especially: Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID, Clean Code, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Test-Driven Development (TDD); * REST/SOAP API integration, microservices, and messaging; * Unit and integration testing (JUnit 5, Mockito, Cucumber); * Relational data structures and **SQL**; * Tools: Git (Github / Bitbucket), JetBrains TeamCity, JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA. * General knowledge: * UX/UI and modern web/mobile interfaces; * Data streaming and messaging (e.g., **Apache Kafka**, **Apache Camel**, RabbitMQ); * Cloud Computing, especially **Amazon AWS** (Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless); * DevOps: CI/CD, Monitoring and Observability (Datadog). **Soft Skills** * Willingness and interest in learning and obtaining certifications in proprietary market technologies (Guidewire/Gosu); * Strong verbal and written communication skills; * Hands-on, collaborative, and communicative profile; * Focus and attention to detail; * Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize concurrent demands; * Systemic vision and analytical thinking; * Organization and commitment (ownership); * Flexibility to work in a hybrid model (3 days onsite). **Optional Differentiators (not mandatory)** * Fluent English and/or Spanish; * Experience/certification/knowledge of Guidewire Insurance Suite (Gosu/GUnit); * Experience in the insurance sector, particularly auto insurance, or financial institutions in general; * Relevant software development certifications. **Additional Information** **Have you ever imagined working somewhere where caring for people goes far beyond words?** At Suhai, we believe work must make sense — in life, day-to-day, and in people’s futures.
