Description
The **speech-language pathologist** will work alongside the SESMT team to promote and prevent occupational hearing-related health issues among employees.
**Responsibilities and duties**
* Conduct audiologic examinations;
* Analyze documentation of existing company prevention programs (PCMSO, PGR);
* Evaluate and monitor exposure to ototoxic agents;
* Review employees' occupational clinical history;
* Perform audiologic management;
* Provide technical input for the selection, recommendation, fitting, and follow-up of personal protective equipment;
* Recommend individual and collective control measures, as well as environmental controls for ototoxic agents;
* Train and guide teams on work control practices;
* Participate in the preparation, maintenance, and updating of occupational records, action plans, and program outcomes;
**Requirements and qualifications**
* Completed undergraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology;
* Active registration with the professional council;
* Experience in Occupational Health and specialized knowledge in Audiology will be considered a plus.
