Occupational Safety Technician \#1118 Location: Nova Bassano (can reside in Nova Prata and Nova Araçá, shuttle transportation provided) Schedule: Monday to Friday **Requirements: Completed technical course in Occupational Safety. Experience in the field.** Responsibilities: Conduct inspections at workplaces, identifying hazardous conditions and taking all necessary measures to eliminate risk situations, as well as training and raising employee awareness regarding safe work practices. Develop training programs on occupational safety, including awareness campaigns and dissemination of safety regulations, aiming to foster a preventive attitude toward workplace safety among employees. Determine and monitor workers' use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Monitor and support building modification projects or new company installations, aiming to create safer working conditions. Investigate and analyze the causes of occupational diseases and the environmental conditions that caused them, taking legally required actions to prevent recurrence and correct unsanitary conditions causing these illnesses. Promote campaigns, lectures, and other training methods to disseminate occupational safety and hygiene regulations, informing and raising worker awareness about risks associated with their tasks. Supervise and monitor services performed at the facility by third-party companies, ensuring all activities are conducted according to safety standards. Develop plans to control the effects of disasters (incidents and/or serious workplace accidents), creating conditions for firefighting and rescuing victims of any type of accident. Evaluate workplace accident cases, accompanying the injured worker to receive appropriate medical care. Perform work at heights according to specific training.
