As a Robotic Automation Technician, you will be a key contributor to our team’s success, playing a fundamental role where your skills and dedication will make the difference in achieving exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
• Execute weekly programming instructions issued by the Planning Department and Client Managers, reporting to your immediate supervisor on execution status or any difficulties encountered;
• Specify materials and/or tools required to perform tasks;
• Comply with internal company procedures and propose process improvements within your area of responsibility;
• Understand the factory’s electrical/automation layout and interpret logical diagrams, loop diagrams, single-line diagrams, and power and control schematics;
• Propose improvements to automated processes and implement them only upon proper approval;
• Perform software-based modifications following the client’s approval workflow;
• Monitor via software those processes requiring oversight by an automation professional;
• Participate in strategic meetings with your leadership;
• Receive and execute all tasks assigned by your supervisor from the Planning Department, whether corrective or preventive;
• Understand and follow the service order workflow for the departments under your supervision;
• Record executed service orders;
• Observe and comply with safety regulations and operational procedures;
• Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company procedures, ensuring full adherence;
• Participate daily in DDS (Daily Safety Dialogue) meetings, per the guidelines of the Occupational Safety Department;
• Perform work in special-risk areas (e.g., heights, confined spaces), reporting any anomalies to supervision and occupational safety technicians for appropriate action;
• Perform medium- and high-complexity maintenance on ABB, KUKA, and DÜRR robots;
• Analyze failures and perform medium- and large-scale modifications to PLC software to resolve such failures and complete root-cause blockage reports;
• Understand and engage with the maintenance KPIs defined in the contract; propose solutions to achieve/maintain availability and PQS targets;
• Architect and program PLC software for small production processes;
• Demonstrate proficiency with configuration and parameterization software for frequency inverters installed at the facility, performing medium- and high-complexity modifications;
• Demonstrate proficiency with Regulatory Standard No. 12 (NR12).
• Use company-provided equipment and tools correctly;
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as instructed in work procedures and per Occupational Safety guidance;
• Safeguard company and client assets;
• Perform other related duties inherent to the position.
Technical Requirements:
• Technical course in Automation
• Solid experience in this role
• NR 06, NR 10, NR 12, NR 18, NR 34, and NR 35.
