Law student from the 4th semester onward; internship schedule: morning shift. Hours: 8:00 AM to 1:15 PM. Neighborhood: Pituba. Assist the legal team in handling judicial and administrative proceedings, ensuring document organization and deadline compliance, while developing practical competencies in legal writing and procedural analysis. Activities and Responsibilities For intermediate-level interns (4th semester onward), activities typically evolve from purely administrative tasks to technical ones: * **Drafting Procedural Documents:** Preparing simple procedural filings, such as statements regarding evidence, requests for document attachment, low-complexity appeals, and extrajudicial notices. * **Procedural Management:** Monitoring case progress in court systems (PJe, e-SAJ, Projudi) and updating the company's/law firm's legal management software. * **Doctrinal and Jurisprudential Research:** Searching for recent court decisions and interpretations from higher courts to support defense arguments or legal opinions. * **External Errands:** Occasional visits to courthouses, notary offices, and public agencies for filing documents, retrieving copies, or obtaining information (though digitalization has drastically reduced this need). * **Document Analysis:** Organizing and sorting documentary evidence for case preparation. * **Client Service/Internal Coordination:** Supporting clarification of case status inquiries from clients or other company departments. **Requirements and Qualifications** * **Education:** Pursuing a Law degree (from the 4th semester onward). * **Technical Skills:** * Strong writing ability and command of standard Portuguese. * Basic knowledge of jurisprudential research tools. * Intermediate Office suite proficiency (primarily Word and Excel). * **Behavioral Profile:** * Organization and attention to detail (essential to avoid missing deadlines). * Proactivity and willingness to learn. * Ethical commitment.
