Job Summary:
An OSH professional responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring safety activities, including developing plans, inspecting areas, and proposing corrective measures to ensure a safe working environment.
Key Highlights:
1. Work planning and implementation of occupational safety and health (OSH) programs and campaigns
2. Conducting safety inspections and identifying hazards
3. Preparing technical reports and monitoring corrective actions
Collect information\-based data to support the planning of OSH activities for the construction site/branch;
Support the development and implementation of work plans, campaigns, or programs, considering the specific requirements of each project and client needs;
Conduct safety inspections in operational and administrative areas, identify hazardous situations, and communicate findings to responsible personnel for resolution;
Support the preparation of technical reports and identification of unsafe conditions, propose corrective actions, and monitor their implementation with guidance from the OSH technician or engineer;
Gather data on the progress of OSH initiatives and update spreadsheets and systems with statistical safety-related information (e.g., accidents, training sessions, inspections, etc.);
Implement preventive occupational safety measures for company facilities and equipment, observing working conditions and risk areas;
Conduct and attend CIPA meetings, safety programs, and training sessions focused on occupational safety;
Assess area-specific characteristics related to execution difficulties, basic safety requirements, and required schematics and materials.
Maintain communication with technical teams to ensure alignment of activities and resolution of potential challenges;
Keep operational controls up to date;
Generate verification reports on OSH activities and present them to managers and contract supervisors;
Monitor and support emergency brigade activities and implementation of the emergency response plan, as needed;
Provide technical support for completing Work Permits (WP), inspection records, internal audits, and addressing non-conformities.
