Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fiber optic networks to deliver internet, telephone, and television services. This professional conducts technical site visits, configures equipment, and ensures the connection is functioning correctly according to established quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Install fiber optic cables in residential, commercial, and other locations as per service requests. * Configure and activate network equipment to ensure internet, TV, and telephone services operate correctly. * Identify, diagnose, and resolve fiber optic connectivity issues during and after installation. * Perform signal and connection quality tests to ensure installations comply with quality standards. * Stay updated on new technologies and procedures related to fiber optic installation and maintenance. * Complete technical reports and service records, maintaining proper control and documentation for each service call. * Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on fiber optic networks, identifying and fixing faults. * Follow all safety regulations and use required personal protective equipment (PPE) during operations. * Interact professionally and courteously with customers, clarifying doubts and providing technical support during installation. **Qualifications and Skills:** * Technical knowledge of fiber optic networks, equipment configuration, and telecommunications infrastructure. * Experience in fiber optic network installation and maintenance is a plus. * Ability to handle tools and equipment specific to fiber optic installation. * Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams. * Proactivity, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving ability. * Physical capability to perform tasks at heights and handle heavy cables and equipment. * Driver’s license category B **Education:** * Completed high school; a technical course in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Networks, or related fields is desirable. **Experience:** * Prior experience in fiber optic network installation or telecommunications services is a plus Job Type: Full-time CLT Salary: R$1.720,00 – R$2.200,00 per month Benefits: * Health insurance * Meal allowance * Transportation allowance Work Location: On-site
