As an ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR, your responsibilities will include: Planning, scheduling, and overseeing the execution of electrical and instrumentation maintenance tasks, assigning duties, guiding the team, and performing high-complexity operations—including direct supervision of switching operations and activities in substations. Diagnosing corrective maintenance needs through conducting and guiding technical inspection routines to ensure equipment reliability and availability. Maintaining up-to-date equipment registers and maintenance histories to guarantee traceability and support technical decision-making. Preparing technical drawings and minor improvement projects for the department, as well as identifying and arranging necessary training for the maintenance team’s development. Reading, interpreting, and applying electrical and electronic schematics to support maintenance and continuous improvement activities. Managing the dispatch and receipt of materials and equipment sent to third parties for repair and/or calibration, monitoring deadlines and service compliance. Maintaining constant interface with the production area to address incidents, including interrupting operations when necessary and setting priorities based on criticality and safety. Conducting, recording, and following up on Safety Dialogues (DDS), special transportation schedules, access authorizations, work permits, and other administrative activities of the department. Supervising maintenance activities during scheduled monthly and annual shutdowns, ensuring adherence to schedules, technical standards, and safety requirements. Issuing purchase requests for consumable materials required to meet departmental demands. Ensuring cleanliness, organization, and standardization of workplaces, guaranteeing compliance with safety regulations by the maintenance team and all involved personnel. Managing the team—including direct supervision, task assignment, performance monitoring, and identification of training needs.
