You will work with large datasets generated daily, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools within the Hadoop ecosystem. As a Data Analyst, you will develop an understanding of global challenges and specific business-area issues—including Operations, Product, Finance, and Marketing. Your role will be to support the team in formulating data-based recommendations to aid strategic and operational decision-making across the company. Role Responsibilities: * **Data Analysis and Insights:** Collaborate with business teams to support decision-making processes. Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and generate insights that answer business questions. * **Data Preparation:** Assist in data extraction and cleaning. Write efficient SQL queries and help maintain the data pipelines required to conduct analyses. * **Performance and Monitoring:** Update and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the impact and efficiency of new features and processes. * **Communication and Collaboration:** Visualize findings clearly for stakeholders. Work with cross-functional teams to investigate data discrepancies and help implement solutions. Role Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree with strong theoretical grounding in statistics or a related quantitative field—such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or similar. * Solid knowledge of **SQL and Python (or R)** for data analysis. * Understanding of statistical methods and how to apply them to business problems. * 1 year or more of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related academic/research/internship role. * Ability to manipulate data and a strong interest in learning **Big Data** platforms. * Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
