A professional responsible for in-person and telephone support to customers and physicians, performing registrations, guidance, billing, and document organization.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Provide in-person and telephone support to customers and physicians;
* Direct patients to their respective departments;
* Perform/update patient registration, open emergency appointments, and request patient/attendant signatures on documents required for care;
* Identify patients/attendants using identification labels or wristbands;
* Ensure patients are receiving care;
* Request consultation and procedure authorizations from health insurance providers;
* Verify all daily appointments, identify and resolve pending issues generated during the shift, and organize the care report;
* Monitor/resolve pending issues;
* Guide customers on regulations, procedures, and service price lists;
* Direct patients to the cashier;
* Perform billing and collection for services rendered, both private-pay and insurance-based, when the cashier is unavailable;
* Verify change provided by the cashier;
* Deliver cash, checks, and credit card receipts—along with receipts or invoices—to the cashier;
* Record any departmental incidents in the incident logbook;
* Hand over shift responsibilities to the next team, ensuring colleagues are informed of all occurrences;
* Check emails and incident logbooks daily;
* Generate service orders as needed by the department;
* Maintain spreadsheets;
* Participate in staff rotation across departments and shifts;
* Cover for colleagues on vacation;
* Provide the complaint book to customers upon request;
* Train new employees;
* Receive, register, organize, and route documents;
* Perform other duties relevant to the position;
* Safeguard the institution's assets.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma (Secondary Education)
