Job Summary:
A professional to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and electronic systems of heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Key Highlights:
1. Perform electrical maintenance on heavy-duty vehicle fleets, including compacting trucks.
2. Conduct accurate diagnostics and efficient repairs on electrical systems.

Responsibilities and Duties
TASKS:
\- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and electronic systems of heavy-duty vehicles (compacting trucks);
\- Diagnose electrical faults using multimeters, automotive scanners, and specialized tools;
\- Repair starting systems, alternators, batteries, wiring harnesses, lighting, dashboards, and sensors;
\- Perform electrical maintenance on hydraulic attachments and compactors, where applicable;
\- Interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and manufacturers' technical manuals;
\- Conduct functional tests after interventions;
\- Record performed services, diagnostics, and replaced parts in work orders or internal systems;
\- Support the mechanical maintenance team whenever necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
\- Ensure full functionality and electrical safety of fleet vehicles;
\- Ensure accurate diagnostics and efficient repairs;
\- Strictly comply with occupational safety, environmental, and internal procedural standards;
\- Maintain tools, equipment, and workplace organization;
\- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team.
Requirements and Qualifications
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND COMPETENCIES:
\- Proven experience in diagnosing electronic fuel injection systems;
\- Proven experience in repairing wiring harnesses;
\- Experience as an automotive electrician, preferably with heavy-duty fleets, trucks, or utility vehicles;
\- Knowledge of 12V and 24V automotive electrical systems;
\- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics;
\- Basic knowledge of electricity applied to hydraulic attachments (desirable).
EDUCATION:
\- Technical or vocational training in Automotive Electrical Systems (mandatory).
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
\- Driver's license category C or D (desirable).
