Description
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the nursing unit under your responsibility
Apply the Nursing Process (SAE) in a humanized and individualized manner
Apply and evaluate the partograph
Develop the leave and activity schedule for nursing professionals under your responsibility
Provide nursing care to pregnant women, laboring women, and newborns
Monitor the progress of labor and record it on the appropriate form
Provide assistance to laboring women and support normal delivery
Identify obstetric dystocia and take appropriate measures until the physician arrives
Perform episiotomy and episiorrhaphy when necessary, with local anesthesia administration
Deliver nursing care to critically ill pregnant women, laboring women, and postpartum women at risk of life-threatening conditions requiring higher technical complexity
Encourage and participate in quality improvement projects within units under your responsibility
Comply with SCIH regulations
Participate in committees
Assess the need for continuing education for professionals under your responsibility
Contribute to and participate in CTD programs
Collaborate in teaching and research development processes in the health field:

Requirements:
Education\- Bachelor's degree in Nursing and completed postgraduate specialization in Obstetrics
Criteria:
* Minimum of 6 months in the position of Nurse.
* No unexcused absences or warnings during the last 6 months.
* Completion of all mandatory courses and the compliance training pathway.
