The ideal candidate will have hands\-on experience building scalable, high\-performance web applications and APIs (GraphQL) using Elixir and Phoenix. You will work on upgrading Elixir and Phoenix versions, implementing robust backend solutions, and ensuring system reliability. You’ll play a key role in the development, customization, and maintenance of our backend service and administrator website, working closely with product owners, designers, and QA teams to deliver user experiences and business value. Key Responsibilities: **Development \& Implementation:** Develop and maintain web applications using Elixir and Phoenix. Design and implement GraphQL APIs using Absinthe. Work with Ecto for database interactions and schema management. Build dynamic Phoenix pages, handle WebSockets and Channels for real\-time features. Integrate external APIs using Tesla library. Experience implementing secure authentication flows and authorization strategies using Ueberauth Handle geospatial data using GeoJSON. Manage background and asynchronous tasks using Oban jobs. Implement Telemetry and OpenTelemetry for monitoring and observability. Write and maintain unit tests using ExUnit and Hammox for mocks and contracts. Upgrade existing Elixir and Phoenix versions to the latest stable releases. Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to deliver high\-quality software solutions. **Collaboration \& Cross\-Functional Work:** Partner with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless Mobile integration and user\-centric experiences. Work closely with Mobile developers to optimize API integrations and performance. Align development efforts with business objectives in partnership with Product Owners. **Workflow Optimization \& Automation:** Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline development and deployment processes. Contribute to the improvement of development workflows, including CI/CD pipelines and testing strategies. Research and recommend tools and technologies to enhance team productivity. Conduct code reviews and ensure high standards of development and documentation YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS **Required Qualifications:** Excellent verbal communication skills in English. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 3 \- 5\+ years of experience in Backend development Experience with Phoenix and GraphQL APIs. Strong knowledge of Elixir, javascript, HTML5, CSS Familiarity with version control (Git, specifically BitBucket) and Agile development practices. ​​Familiarity with database technology such as Postgresql and Ecto **Preferred Skills:** Experience with Elixir and Phoenix to develop Web and Backend API using GraphQL Knowledge of cloud platforms and DevOps practices (Azure, CI/CD pipelines). Experience with concepts such as real\-time architecture, WebSockets (Phoenix Channels), and Apollo integration. GraphQL improvements (optimizing queries, subscriptions, and schema design). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments. Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud deployment environments.
