We are seeking an experienced **Operations Manager (Construction Projects)** to lead, manage, and coordinate all company construction-related operations, ensuring compliance with **deadlines, costs, quality, technical requirements, and safety standards**. This professional will hold a strategic position, responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams (engineering, planning, procurement, and execution), defining project management methodologies, coordinating construction planning, and providing technical support to teams—guaranteeing **operational efficiency, project profitability, and customer satisfaction**. **Responsibilities** **Planning, Production, and Procurement Management** * Develop, monitor, and update construction execution schedules, integrating engineering, procurement, and execution. * Coordinate multiple engineering disciplines (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Architecture, Structural, among others). * Monitor performance indicators (schedule, cost, productivity, and quality), proposing corrective and preventive actions. * Ensure critical scope analysis and mitigation of technical, financial, and operational risks. * Coordinate progress meetings with clients, technical teams, and senior management. * Supervise purchasing processes, contracting, material and service logistics. * Approve strategic suppliers, negotiate high-impact contracts, and optimize costs and timelines. * Monitor operations via ERP systems, especially **Sienge**. **Technical, Engineering, and People Management** * Coordinate and guide engineering teams, ensuring compliance with technical standards and current legislation. * Validate technical solutions, design revisions, and multidisciplinary project coordination. * Ensure issuance and control of ARTs (Technical Responsibility Statements), insurance policies, and technical and legal documentation. * Guarantee implementation of modern construction methodologies and value engineering. * Lead technical and operational teams, promoting integration among planning, engineering, procurement, and field operations. * Evaluate performance, develop competencies, and manage conflicts, maintaining a collaborative and productive environment. **Strategic Management and Customer Relationship** * Ensure alignment between company objectives, customers, and stakeholders. * Represent the company in strategic meetings with clients, partners, and public agencies. * Lead or support project kickoff meetings, ensuring alignment on scope, deadlines, and responsibilities. * Guarantee delivery of construction projects within the profitability parameters defined by senior management. * Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation in construction project management processes. **Requirements** **Mandatory** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Production, or related fields). * Solid and proven experience managing medium- and large-scale construction projects. * Field experience at construction sites and management of multiple concurrent projects. * Strong track record leading multidisciplinary teams. * Proficiency in project management methodologies (PMBOK and/or Agile). * Expertise in planning and control tools (MS Project, Primavera, BIM) and ERP systems. * Advanced knowledge of cost management, contracts, procurement, cash flow, and KPIs. * Excellent communication, negotiation, strategic vision, and data-driven decision-making skills. * Willingness to travel. **Desirable** * Postgraduate degree or MBA in Project Management, Construction Management, or related areas. * Certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, Lean Construction). * Experience with BIM (3D, 4D, 5D). * Experience in public works, bidding processes, and preparation of technical/commercial proposals. * Intermediate or advanced English proficiency.
