No matter who you are, where you come from, or whom you love, you can always influence those around you and make a positive impact on the world. **Learn more about PepsiCo:**PepsiCoJobs Responsibilities: **The Opportunity** Manage all environmental and sustainability matters for the plant, ensuring compliance (validity) with applicable legal requirements and related permits—including their conditions; Lead the plant’s Recon group and its indicators, processes, projects, and improvements; Provide systemic, methodological, and technical support to GEHSMS-related requests from Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Support Functions, and Third Parties; Manage the Environmental and Sustainability budget; Ensure compliance with legal and other applicable requirements for the facility, and maintain strong relationships with relevant governmental/environmental authorities. Scope: Brazil Operations: PepsiCo Itu Plant. **Your Impact** EHS Management Processes: Drive the agenda to reduce environmental performance indicators and workplace accident rates at the plant by implementing innovation projects and cultural leverage initiatives; Manage the Annual Operating Plan (AOP); Manage service providers and customers—including document validation and qualification; Support implementation of continuous improvement programs in environment and compliance to strengthen EHS and sustainability culture across the site; Develop reports using innovative tools (Power BI); Interface with all company functions—such as Engineering, Procurement, and Maintenance—to standardize and accelerate EHS-related processes; Support Engineering in executing projects involving environmental and sustainability aspects; Manage KPIs and produce intelligence reports, as well as monitor relevant information; Serve as focal point for implementing Brazil-wide sustainability cultural programs and drive their rollout across the site (Brazil Sustainability Plan); Prepare and present EHS results to the company and LATAM; Manage the site’s Environmental and Sustainability budget; Oversee management of all site waste streams—including third-party waste management services; Lead management of the wastewater treatment plant; Manage EHS–Sustainability and Environmental training for the plant; Legal Requirements Management: Conduct environmental risk assessments (LAIA) and develop action plans to minimize risks; Manage control of all permits and applicable legislation for the site; Implement all legal requirements at the site and conduct monitoring/verification thereof; Accompany technical visits and inspections conducted by external environmental agencies, and support internal and external audits; Serve as focal point for engagement with regional governmental authorities. Develop scopes of work for contracting services to meet legal requirements. GEHSMS Management System: Support planning, implementation, and monitoring of internal management system guidelines and procedures, meeting ISO / NBR / OHSAS standards and legal requirements; Manage and apply PepsiCo’s internal Management Model; Conduct frequent EHS audits to ensure adherence to the Management System; Support local and corporate EHS teams during internal audits. Serve as focal point for implementation of all internal management procedures—and act as the key person ensuring correct implementation.
