Join our team and become a Med Member. **Responsibilities and Duties** Support activities related to readiness, emergency response, rescue and salvage, prevention tasks, and routine demands at the power plants of Petrobras' Thermoelectric Park. .• Maintain emergency response materials and equipment in perfect condition, properly sanitized and organized. • Join the CONTRACTOR's Emergency Brigade and respond to emergencies occurring within the CONTRACTOR's facilities or in their immediate vicinity when the Unit participates in a Mutual Aid Plan (PAM). • Develop and deliver training on prevention, preparedness, and emergency response, as well as SMS-related training, including training multipliers, per PETROBRAS instructions and procedures, within the service area as required and upon request by PETROBRAS supervision; • Participate in training on prevention, preparedness, and emergency response, as well as SMS-related training per CONTRACTOR guidelines. • Conduct inspections of the CONTRACTOR's fire prevention and suppression equipment, chemical emergency equipment, and environmental emergency equipment. • Plan activities scheduled for the measurement period and update the information systems designated by the CONTRACTOR. • Participate in the Mutual Aid Plan (PAM) (where applicable), jointly with the CONTRACTOR or independently, as part of the response team. • Support planning, readiness, and technical rescue operations for height and confined space work. • Plan, install, and remove support equipment for critical height and confined space work, as well as perform search, rescue, and salvage operations, enabling frontline work coverage; • Perform technical rescue services for personnel using specialized labor during process unit shutdowns; • Identify safe anchorage points for use in rescue operations; • Plan and supervise rescue and salvage operations, and develop and deliver training per PETROBRAS instructions and procedures; • Monitor the execution of scaffolding assembly and disassembly planning in industrial areas, assessing safety conditions prior to authorizing erected structures; • Periodically inspect scaffolds used in routine, pre-shutdown, maintenance shutdown, and post-maintenance shutdown services; • Inspect and monitor isolation of cargo movement areas to prevent personnel from entering the load’s radius of influence. • Ensure compliance with the Business Area or Business Unit (RGN/UTE) Corporate Standard Procedure for scaffolding assembly and disassembly, which aims to standardize scaffolding assembly/disassembly, maintenance, and safety activities, as well as the Standard on Safety in Height Work; • Conduct predetermined assessments and audit confined or restricted space activities with environmental monitoring using multigas and thermal stress devices provided by the CONTRACTOR, supporting the CONTRACTOR's Occupational Safety Technician. This control must be recorded on an agreed-upon form with the CONTRACTOR; • Execute inspection and audit plans during shutdown phases; • Inspect tools and machinery from contracted companies, labeling approved items with a specific seal; • Facilitate, accompany, and conduct Daily Safety Dialogues (DDS) across various teams and work fronts; • Support, upon request, the development and implementation of Risk Analyses (RA) for routine activities and across all maintenance shutdown phases; • Authorize work permits; • Support implementation of the systematic approach for managing deviations and incidents during scheduled thermoelectric plant shutdowns, as well as apply knowledge dissemination and training strategies; • Respond to other PETROBRAS requests related to Civil Professional Firefighter, rescue, and salvage services. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements:** * Technical Diploma in Occupational Safety * Civil Firefighter Diploma * Driver's License Class D * Emergency Vehicle Driver Certificate (CVE) * Curriculum Vitae (Minimum 2 years of experience) * NBR 16710 Certificate (Leader-Level Rescue) * NR 33 Certificate (32 hours) * NR 35 Certificate (8 hours) * NR 10 Certificate (40 hours) * NR 20 II Advanced Certificate (32 hours) **Additional Information** * **Salary:** R$3796.18 * **Transportation Allowance (per day):** R$0 * **Meal Allowance (per day):** R$27.50 * **Working Hours:** 48 hours/week * **Additional Benefit:** Hazard Pay * **Shift:** 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM * **Location:** Jardins – BR-465 Highway – Seropédica – Rio de Janeiro **Join Grupo Med\+ – Where Purpose Saves Lives!** We are Grupo Med\+, Brazil's largest Emergency Response provider for critical infrastructures.
