Job Title Firjan Senai Scholarship \- Call No. 0020/2026 Professional Experience Desirable experience in technological prospecting projects related to materials or chemistry, competitive intelligence and market/sectoral analysis, patent searching and analysis, scientific articles and technical reports, and ability to draft technical and/or scientific reports. Preferred qualifications: experience in developing technology roadmaps; familiarity with paid and free patent databases; ability to read and detail patents; multicriteria analysis; knowledge of technical aspects of materials; experience with data visualization and analysis tools; prior experience with competitive intelligence platforms or participation in projects with companies or innovation centers. Academic Qualifications Applicant must hold a Ph.D. degree in Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical and Biochemical Process Technology, or Process Engineering. Job Responsibilities Systematic monitoring of scientific and technological trends in new materials, bioeconomy, or chemistry for the project; Patent mapping and analysis (technology landscape, patent opportunities and barriers, identification of key players) related to the project; Detailing of identified technical documents; Identification of new technological pathways relevant to the project theme and assessment of their maturity level; Technical analysis of intellectual property and technological protection strategies related to the project; Development and/or updating of technology roadmaps related to the project; Identification of market niches, stakeholders, and industrial opportunities related to the project theme; Integration of technical, market, and patent data to support strategic decision-making for the project; Production of strategic reports to support decision-making for the project.
