The Senior Accountant ensures the integrity and compliance of accounting information, strategically supporting management through financial closing, analysis, and tax obligations.

The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring the integrity, compliance, and reliability of the company's accounting information. They operate strategically in financial closing, financial statement analysis, and fulfillment of tax obligations, contributing to management decision-making. They perform a specialized technical role with autonomy to critically analyze accounting data, support executive management, and guide the team.
* Coordinate and execute monthly financial closing, ensuring accurate recording of transactions.
* Perform reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
* Prepare and analyze balance sheets and financial statements.
* Ensure compliance with tax and accounting obligations.
* Monitor and control ICMS (RJ).
* Prepare managerial reports to support decision-making.
* Support the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget.
* Respond to internal and external audits.
* Propose improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.
* Provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level accountants.
* Support the implementation and enhancement of accounting systems.
