Job Summary: We are seeking a Metal Structure Assembler to assemble, install, and maintain steel structures, interpret engineering plans, and ensure compliance with applicable standards. Focus on safety and quality standards We are looking for a Metal Structure Assembler to perform assembly, installation, and maintenance of steel structures in civil and industrial construction projects. The professional will be responsible for interpreting engineering plans and technical drawings, performing layout marking, alignment, and fastening, ensuring proper execution in accordance with technical standards and quality and safety requirements. Main Responsibilities * Assemble metal structures (warehouses, mezzanines, roofs, supports, stairs, racks, and others). * Interpret engineering plans, technical drawings, and sketches for field execution. * Perform required marking, measurement, cutting, and adjustments for assembly. * Carry out alignment, plumb, and leveling of components and structures. * Fasten components using bolts, welding, or anchor bolts, as specified. * Assist in lifting and handling components using auxiliary equipment (hoists, cranes, aerial work platforms). * Comply with and uphold occupational safety regulations (NR-18, NR-35, mandatory PPE). * Collaborate with welding teams and supervisors to optimize timelines and quality. Requirements * Proven experience in assembling metal structures. * Knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings. * Proficiency in using hand and power tools (drills, grinders, sanders, wrenches). * Basic knowledge of measurement, leveling, and plumb checking. * Willingness to work at heights and travel when required. * Availability to work across various construction sites. Preferred Qualifications * NR-35 (Work at Heights) and NR-18 (Construction Site Safety) training. * Experience in large-scale industrial construction projects. * Familiarity with aerial work platforms and electric hoists. * Advanced ability to read structural engineering plans.
