Supports and trains teams, contributing to professional development **Electromechanic II** --------------------- **Are you seeking a new opportunity in your professional career?** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Maintenance Department in Novo Hamburgo (RS) has this opportunity to manage the maintenance operations of Wood Handling South America. **Your main tasks and responsibilities include:** * Independently handle, analyze, and execute work orders with moderate autonomy, identifying internal department needs and contributing to the continuity and reliability of production processes. * Perform high-complexity mechanical maintenance, including replacement of overhead crane cables, bearing replacement, repair of busbar protections, replacement of screws and sliders, general lubrication, motor disassembly, protection adjustments, and elimination of oil, water, and gas leaks. Report required spare parts or materials to the responsible department head. * Perform intermediate- and advanced-level electrical maintenance, such as reading and interpreting electrical schematics, maintaining electrical panels, installing and configuring frequency inverters and soft-starters, diagnosing faults, performing preventive maintenance per manuals, removing and installing servo motors, replacing drivers and drives, calibrating temperature controllers, and adjusting controls per operational requirements. * Perform electronic maintenance with intermediate autonomy, interpreting technical specifications, executing preventive and corrective activities, working on CNCs with Fanuc, Siemens, and Mitsubishi controls, monitoring PLCs, and intervening in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. * Diagnose and resolve non-routine failures by applying technical knowledge, critical analysis, and root-cause investigation to ensure safe and efficient resumption of operations. * Maintain organization and preservation of tools, equipment, and the workplace, ensuring intervention quality and adherence to good operational practices. * Provide technical support to the team by training, guiding, and supervising less experienced professionals in performing low- and medium-complexity tasks. * Properly use tools and equipment, focusing on prevention and safety to ensure personal and third-party protection. * Ensure integrity of NR12-compliant safety guards and devices installed on equipment. * Perform minor welding tasks when necessary. * Comply with safety, hygiene, and discipline regulations, following internal policies and supervisor instructions, serving as a behavioral role model for other employees. * Understand and adhere to the company’s mission, values, policies, and objectives, as well as internal procedures for quality, environment, safety, and preventive medicine, contributing to continuous improvement and effective service delivery to internal and external customers. * Understand and apply Quality Management System standards and instructions, ensuring compliance of executed processes and services. * Perform other related and inherent duties as directed by the immediate supervisor. **To succeed in this position, it is important to have:** * Completed Technical Education in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Automation. * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, or related fields is desirable. * Extensive experience in industrial maintenance. * CRT or CFT registration is mandatory. **We Offer** ------------------ **We offer a dynamic work environment that values innovation and fosters development.
