Lead and develop the procurement team, promoting continuous improvement. **Plan, manage, and control procurement activities for medicines, materials, and hospital equipment, ensuring quality, availability, regulatory compliance, and cost optimization, thereby guaranteeing the company’s continuous supply.** * Plan and execute procurement strategies for medicines and hospital equipment. * Negotiate and guide the procurement team regarding pricing, delivery timelines, order volumes, and commercial terms with suppliers. * Analyze and advise on replenishment needs based on demand and inventory turnover. * Ensure continuous supply of critical products. * Analyze pharmaceutical and hospital market trends, as well as identify opportunities for new products or suppliers. * Identify, qualify, and evaluate new suppliers. * Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery timeliness, cost, and reliability. * Develop strategic partnerships with manufacturers and distributors. * Seek alternatives to reduce dependence on sole-source suppliers, and identify alternative suppliers for critical items. * Define minimum, maximum, and reorder point inventory policies. * Develop international suppliers and conduct import operations. * Monitor product expiration dates to prevent losses due to expiry, and establish actions for identified issues. * Collaborate closely with the commercial and logistics departments. * Control the procurement budget and contribute to increasing profit margins. * Pursue cost reduction and improvement of contribution margin. * Evaluate the financial impact of negotiations. * Participate in the company’s strategic planning. * Lead and develop the procurement team. * Set goals and monitor team performance. * Promote continuous improvement in processes. * Monitor risks of supply shortages. * Align procurement activities with financial and operational objectives.
