**Job Description:** The Fusion Technician is responsible for carrying out installation and repair activities on optical networks in commercial, industrial, residential, rural, urban, and public agency environments. Works alongside the responsible technician, providing field support to ensure service quality, safety, and efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** Assist with work at height, strictly adhering to safety regulations. Support optical cable stripping and fiber preparation for fusion splicing. Assist in assembling optical splice closures (OSC) and optical termination boxes (OTB), preparing equipment for finalization. Support optical cable laying when required. Maintain a clean and organized work environment after service completion. Comply with all occupational safety, hygiene, quality, and environmental protection standards, ensuring service integrity and customer satisfaction. **Requirements:** Completed high school education. Previous experience with optical networks is desirable. Basic knowledge of safety and best practices for optical fiber installations. **Preferred Qualifications:** Prior experience with telecommunications operators or telecom companies.
