**O&M Technician I**
Work Location: Venâncio Aires/RS
Work Model: On-site

**Prerequisites:**
* Completed technical course in Electrotechnology or Electromechanics;
* Valid CFT (Technical Safety Certificate);
* Availability for travel;
* Driver's License Category B;
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite;
* Availability to work in Venâncio Aires;
* Basic knowledge of substations (desirable);
* Knowledge of reading and interpreting electrical control and power circuits (desirable);
**Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:**
* Perform preventive maintenance activities as specified in the transmission system equipment maintenance plan, under the guidance of a Level III Technician or responsible Engineer.
* Perform low-complexity corrective maintenance.
* Perform medium- and high-complexity corrective maintenance, under the guidance of a Technician or responsible Engineer.
* Conduct inspections of lines, equipment, and facilities, documenting any anomalies found.
* Assist in developing improvement projects for substations, under the guidance of Maintenance Engineering.
* Prepare technical reports detailing failures and defects, under the guidance of a Level III Technician or responsible Engineer.
* Perform switching operations in substations upon request from the Transmission Operations Center (COT).
* Operate locally assisted substations and remotely assisted substations during contingency situations or supervision failures.
