The company has 14 years of operation and serves the states of Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, and Paraná, distributing more than 25 brands exclusively, including Dailus, Wella, Felps, Parfum, Florestal, and Kids Zone. We are seeking a TAX ASSISTANT to: Ensure the company complies with tax and fiscal obligations, guaranteeing correct tax payments, avoiding penalties, and optimizing processes. The goal is to maximize tax efficiency, identify opportunities for tax credits, and ensure proper application of legislation, contributing to the organization's financial health and tax regularity. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Verify applicable taxes and levies on invoices issued by suppliers, perform data entry and import invoices; identify discrepancies and carry out proper validation. * Issue and review tax payment forms (GNRE, GA, among others) for necessary operations such as intercompany transfers and interstate sales, and request payment processing from the finance department. * Perform monthly assessment of returns issued to manufacturers, covering all companies and product transfer operations between branches. * Review tax assessments, identifying opportunities for obtaining tax credits. * Check and analyze tax calculations issued by the accounting office (tax regimes: Simples Nacional, Presumed Profit, Real Profit). * Monitor and verify invoices issued against companies, determining whether they will be accepted or rejected. * Validate taxes included in incoming and outgoing invoices. * Issue and import invoices related to various operations such as returns, losses, disposals, and sales, as needed. * Support the billing department by clarifying doubts, analyzing invoices, adjusting rejections, sending documents for approval to Sefaz, and resolving product tracking issues, among other daily activities. * Register new products in the ERP system and customer portals, making necessary adjustments in cases of tax classification changes. * Provide customer support regarding taxation matters, invoice-related questions, XML file transmission, and other relevant department activities. pertinent to the department. * Review and monitor the mapping of tax parameters in the system, ensuring necessary adjustments are implemented to comply with applicable legislation. * Verify and analyze tax forms issued by the accounting office, providing requested information to support ongoing processes. * Monitor the issuance of municipal and state certificates, ensuring the company meets its tax obligations. * Prepare product pricing spreadsheets, including applicable taxes, for configuring values in systems. * Propose process improvements, develop control and verification spreadsheets to enhance data accuracy; * Conduct studies and interpretations of tax legislation. * Ensure confidentiality of information generated or handled by the department. * Provide general support for departmental demands.
