Job responsibilities and functions: * Responsible for defining Equipment Maintenance Plans; * Conduct improvement studies and failure analysis; * Provide technical support during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance shutdowns; * Lead meetings and define maintenance activity strategies, aiming for maximum operational availability, lower costs, asset reliability, within safety and environmental standards; * Monitor operational shutdown reports, identifying the need to perform root cause analysis of equipment failures, involving representatives from relevant areas according to current criteria. Define action plans and conduct frequent follow-ups, ensuring implementation of proposed plans and measuring their effectiveness; * Responsible for defining asset criticality (A/B/C), developing Equipment Maintenance Plans (PME), specifying spare parts, required trainings, maintenance tactics, necessary special tools, improvements, and task lists, ensuring their implementation in the SAP system. Perform and lead, according to schedule, periodic reviews of PMEs, aiming at resource optimization and increased effectiveness; * Analyze service requests involving modifications and/or new installations from various departments and new investment projects, verifying requirements, feasibility, interferences and coordination with other areas, submitting them for approval, and once approved, planning, scheduling and providing resources for execution; * Define and approve purchase specifications (materials and equipment) for their area suitable for maintenance, issuing requisitions, monitoring performance, maintaining contact with procurement and suppliers regarding: technical issues, testing, quality, cost reduction, delivery timelines and operational improvements; * Monitor material inventory, suggesting inclusion of new items, setting restocking limits, removing obsolete items, updating descriptions and specifications based on current and future needs, analyzing quotations and proposals for the procurement department by completing forms and forwarding them for approval or further actions; * Lead the development of the department's training plan, identifying technical gaps within teams and organizing necessary trainings; * Execute activities described in Procedure Standards and Work Instructions; * Specific knowledge on equipment: Metallurgical Plant Equipment: Mills, Slurry Pumps, Gearmotors, Conveyor Belts, Jaw Crushers, Hydraulic Systems.
