Assist in meal preparation according to patients' prescribed diets. Cut, wash, peel, and prepare ingredients for meal preparation. Support kitchen organization, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of utensils, equipment, and environments. Distribute meals to departments, ensuring timeliness and compliance with menus. Manage food inventory, assisting with verification and proper storage. Comply with hygiene, food safety standards, and internal hospital regulations. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient daily operational performance. Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper, Kitchen Assistant, Kitchen Aide, or Food Preparer may indicate suitability for some duties of this position. High school diploma required.
