Mid-Level Business Analyst (Billing)

We have a very special way of working and we do much more than just develop and sell systems; our routine is driven by a culture of knowledge management, people development, and a work environment that fosters relationships based on respect, diversity, and the essence of our values: * We are protagonists * We feel proud to belong * We work in networks and with passion * We value the past, live the present, and build the future * We act responsibly * We celebrate human relationships Take a look at some challenges of this role: * Act as a Business Analyst capable of translating business requirements into software requirements; * Possess knowledge of the business and operations within Clinical Laboratories / Diagnostic Centers; * Gather and manage requirements and document the product. **Responsibilities and duties** * Be responsible for new products from concept definition, requirement gathering, feasibility plans (financial, market, operational), prototyping, implementation, and follow-up; * Guide decisions regarding projects related to LIS, RIS, and pathology solutions concerning billing processes with Payors in private healthcare, claim denial management, and related topics; * Support managing the *backlog* of *features* and *user stories*, aiming to achieve the best results; * Identify and manage the impacts of changes, ensuring successful implementation of new processes and technologies, and guarantee corrective and evolutionary maintenance of requirements; * Generate requirement documentation and keep it up to date; * Monitor the product lifecycle, identifying improvement opportunities, technical debt, and defects to propose solutions, as well as respond to improvement suggestions and classify them; * Perform system functional modeling – functional decomposition, functional aspects of integrations, support UI/UX architects in defining product navigation and interfaces; * Ensure the company's strategy is followed in the project, and that the customer remains at the center of all decisions; * Support knowledge transfer processes – training Shift's operational teams, reviewing product documentation, reviewing training materials, and delivering internal and external product presentations when necessary; * Participate in analysis processes for customer suggestions and Customer Satisfaction Survey results. **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in health-related fields; * Availability to work in São José do Rio Preto/SP; * Knowledge of business, analysis, and development of billing systems projects for public and private healthcare; * Contract and Table Management: remuneration tables (AMB, CBHPM, TUSS, etc.); * TISS standard and interoperability; * Claim denial management; * Remuneration Models: "fee\-for\-service", "bundle", "capitation", among others; * Public Health (SUS): Standardization and Control; * Knowledge in purchasing, supplier, product, inventory, and financial management; * Experience in business analysis, system development, system support, application implementation; * Experience in requirement gathering and management, and in using requirement documentation tools; * Experience in technical system analysis and document composition. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** * Postgraduate degree in health management; * Spanish language proficiency; * Knowledge of management indicators; * Familiarity with Shift LIS and market systems (HIS, RIS, Pathology, PACS); * Experience in analysis and development of ERP system projects in the healthcare sector (hospital). **Additional information** Some important *soft skills*: Negotiation, Leadership, Communication, Interpersonal Relationships, and Customer Focus!
