Lead and/or perform monthly updates of cost controls for administrative and production areas. Provide support and guidance in budget monitoring and execution. Analyze, validate, and generate fixed assets and property items. Maintain updated cost management controls. Technically lead account reconciliations. Monitor inventory held by third parties. Lead and guide quarterly inventory processes. Support audits. Provide support regarding administrative and financial information and data. Strictly adhere to monthly closing schedules. **Activities and Responsibilities:** * Analyze and record provisions for expense, cost, and liability allocations within the same month as the triggering event, under the accrual basis, monitoring accounting entries monthly. * Lead and/or perform monthly updates of cost controls for administrative and production areas, providing comparative reports to respective managers. * Provide support and guidance in budget monitoring and execution through analyses comparing actual versus budgeted results, identifying causes of variances, and recommending corrective actions aligned with plans. * Validate annual and semiannual inventories of the unit/silo. * Analyze, validate, and generate fixed assets and property items — capitalization of the unit under your responsibility. * Maintain updated cost management controls, investment projects, biomass cost, and fuel consumption. * Technically lead account reconciliations (biomass, petty cash, warehouse). * Technically lead monthly accounting reconciliations of journal entries by comparing the general ledger report with supporting reports from other departments. * Monitor and analyze information on finished goods, direct and indirect materials, as well as maintenance parts for the unit stored at third-party locations, as recorded in the department’s system, following established procedures to maintain updated accounting inventory. * Evaluate, validate, and report weekly inventory and shelf-life information to Corporate, meeting established deadlines and updating the status of the monthly closing checklist. * Monitor inventory held by third parties, analyzing balances, identifying inconsistencies, and resolving them. * Manage requests for write-offs of deteriorated products and claims for losses charged to carriers, executed via invoices. * Lead and guide the unit’s quarterly inventory process, including schedule development, announcement of the event date, entry of inventoried data into the system, analysis of results, and resolution of discrepancies, ensuring the reliability of accounting inventory data. * Support audits by providing information, documents, clarifying questions, and other related matters necessary for audit processes, and recommend possible corrective actions for identified non-conformities. * Provide technical support to Corporate Controller’s Office upon request, including clarification of questions, data, reconciliations, and other matters. * Validate cost allocations by invoice to ensure optimal classification of costs and expenses in respective cost centers and accounts. * Contribute to the company’s monthly financial close, calculating net and gross revenues, as well as expenses and costs. * Provide support regarding administrative and financial information and data by preparing management reports containing company data, such as: cash flow, income statements, inventory movements, consumption tracking, and operational information. * Support decision optimization through critical cost and expense analysis reports, breaking down results by cost center, and adjusting the company’s and third-party (FAÇON) cost centers as needed. * Strictly adhere to monthly closing schedules to achieve planned targets, following internal norms and procedures, and updating the status of the closing checklist. * Be responsible for preventing unauthorized access by external individuals to process areas, thereby preventing/interrupting intentional product contamination. * Ensure product safety by performing activities that guarantee a contamination-free product (chemical, physical, or biological), using Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and acquired HACCP knowledge (controlling involved PRPs and CCPs). * Comply with occupational safety regulations at the company and perform activities in accordance with such regulations. **Requirements:** * **Bachelor’s Degree in:** Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting. * **Courses/Specialized Knowledge:** Tax legislation;
