Job Description Manage indicators for the Mine Management Department; * Serve as focal point for mine dispatch-related activities; * Develop and monitor implementation of operational excellence projects across processes (loading and hauling); * Interface with Planning, Plant Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Projects, PCP, and Procurement departments; * Control and monitor input and process costs assigned to the Mine Management Department. Responsibilities and Duties Monitor compliance/adherence to the mining plan; Monitor KPIs and propose corrective actions in cases of deviation from established targets; Issue fleet performance reports, recommending adjustments if necessary; Monitor daily operations to ensure maximum equipment efficiency and optimal mine dispatch within the production process; Participate in weekly mining planning and conduct fleet sizing analysis. Monitor contractor performance for mine movement and auxiliary activities; Participate in developing continuous improvement projects for mine operations; Collaborate with Planning to develop multi-year, annual, and monthly plans, providing data for analysis; Monitor and control unit mining costs. Support technological development and maintenance of best practices applied to mining. Review, develop, and monitor operational procedures with the team. Manage and control the mine movement contract, including conducting relevant contract review meetings. Requirements and Qualifications **EDUCATION:** Mining Engineering **LANGUAGES:** Intermediate English (advanced English is preferred) **COMPUTER SKILLS:** Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI, Minitab. **MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:** 3 years working as an open-pit or underground mining engineer. Field knowledge and experience in open-pit mining; Knowledge of mine unit processes (loading and hauling); Experience in indicator management and anomaly handling; Familiarity with root cause analysis and statistical tools such as Pareto, PDCA, and Six Sigma; Knowledge of cost analysis, measurements, and contracts; Knowledge of mine dispatch systems (Mine Star preferred); Experience implementing continuous improvement projects. **HSSD Responsibilities:** **Alignment with our values:** Safety, Respect, Integrity, and Excellence.
