The **Nursing Technician** is a professional who plays a fundamental role in promoting, preventing, recovering, and rehabilitating patients' health. They are an essential part of the multidisciplinary team and actively participate in planning and carrying out healthcare activities. **Salary**: R$ 3.441.37 **Total Compensation:** R$ 3.974.39 (Base salary + hazard pay + incentive bonus) **Schedule**: 44 hours per week - 07:00 to 16:00 / 14:00 to 23:00 / 22:00 to 07:00 **Work Mode**: On-site **Responsibilities and duties** * Provide safe, humanized, and individualized nursing care to patients under the supervision of a nurse, as well as assist in teaching and research activities carried out at the Institution; * Perform controls and record keeping for departmental activities and other necessary tasks, preparing reports and statistical tracking, ensuring proper activity monitoring and providing accurate and clear information for management and continuous improvement of services provided; * Assist the nurse in preventing and controlling infectious diseases in general, in epidemiological surveillance programs, and in the systematic control of hospital infections; * Guide and assist patients by providing information regarding hygiene, nutrition, medication use, and specific health treatment care, ensuring patients clearly understand how to manage their health, contributing to faster recovery, reduced complications, and improved quality of life; * Monitor patients' vital signs and general conditions according to medical and nursing prescriptions, continuously observing the patient as needed, identifying changes, guiding appropriate health interventions, and recording data for ongoing monitoring and clinical progression; * Deliver care based on guidelines and standards established by the healthcare institution, such as safety, hygiene, comfort, and service quality protocols, following all instructions to prevent errors—including correct medication administration, patient identification, and continuous monitoring of vital signs and general conditions—providing safe, effective, and humanized care in compliance with institutional standards to ensure high-quality care and patient well-being; * Ensure patients receive the correct medication at the right time and in a safe manner, contributing to successful treatment outcomes and patient safety, resulting in safer, more effective care with better results; * Perform other duties inherent to the position. **Requirements and qualifications** * Technical Course in Nursing; * Active registration with the Professional Council; * Basic Office package skills; * Previous experience is desirable. **Additional information** * Fuel allowance; * Cafeteria; * SESC; * Birthday leave (DayOff). **IMED** is a nonprofit social organization dedicated to public health.
