Originating as a dry and wet goods store in the 1970s, the company has grown, evolved, and today stands out as a modern retail chain with 7 stores, committed to offering variety, value, and an ever-better shopping experience for its customers. **About the Position:** The Assistant Manager is responsible for supervising the store team and operations, focusing on daily operations, team leadership, and goal attainment. They oversee restocking, store organization, customer service, inventory management, staff scheduling, and perform store opening or closing procedures. **Main Responsibilities and Activities:** * Supervises staff, trains new employees, establishes and monitors work schedules, assigns tasks, and motivates the team to achieve sales targets. * Monitors store operations, ensuring shelf and display organization, cleanliness, correct pricing, and compliance with internal safety and hygiene standards. * Manages inventory control, monitors stock levels, conducts inventories, verifies product expiration dates, and analyzes/prevents losses and damages. * Handles customer service, resolves conflicts, manages front-counter workflow, and strives for service excellence. * Supports Management: Acts as manager substitute during absences and assists in implementing sales strategies. * Opening and Closing: Performs security procedures, cash register verification, and prepares the store for operation. **Requirements:*** High school diploma – Bachelor’s degree preferred * Basic computer skills (Office suite and systems) * Prior experience in this role * Flexible schedule availability * Leadership, strong communication skills, and ability to solve problems quickly. * Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale systems. * Knowledge of sanitary and food safety regulations **Benefits:** Medical assistance, Dental assistance
