Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining department organization, serving customers, recording orders, presenting products, and assisting in bread production, ensuring product availability and quality. Opportunity to assist in bread production and display * Clean and maintain department organization, wash utensils used by the production team, clean the service counter whenever necessary, and clean other surfaces in the designated department area. * Greet and serve customers upon their arrival at the bakery, greeting them, handling order requests, and answering all questions. Select, weigh, package, and deliver products to customers. * Record custom orders received via telephone or in person. Relay necessary information to the production team and place the order note in the designated location to track: description, quantities, delivery dates, and times—ensuring full order fulfillment. * Offer customers tastings of new bakery products, displaying them in accessible locations and providing all relevant information and answers to inquiries, with the goal of introducing and promoting new product sales. * Assist in the bread production process whenever needed, scoring and loading bread into ovens, monitoring oven time and temperature, removing baked goods from ovens, and displaying them in the sales area upon request—ensuring freshly baked bread is always available for sale.
