Assisting in mise en place setup and simple food cooking **SCHEDULE** * Tuesday to Friday: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM * Saturday and Sunday: 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM * Day off on Monday + 1 Sunday per month **BENEFITS** * Transportation allowance + Health insurance + Dental insurance + Gympass + Life insurance + On-site meal + Consumption discount **JOB DESCRIPTION** The Kitchen Assistant is responsible for supporting the team in food preparation, ingredient sanitation, kitchen organization, and utensil cleaning, ensuring a safe, clean, organized, and productive workplace. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * **Ingredient sanitation and preparation:** Washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning food according to the chef's instructions. * **Kitchen organization:** Keeping the work surface clean and organized, ensuring ingredients and utensils are readily available. * **Mise en place setup support:** Preparing ingredients to facilitate dish execution. * **Assistance in simple food cooking:** Preparing side dishes, broths, basic sauces, and other support items. * **Hygiene and cleaning maintenance:** Washing dishes, utensils, and equipment, as well as ensuring environmental cleanliness per food safety standards. * **Proper storage of supplies:** Following best practices for food storage and preservation, respecting expiration dates and quality standards. * **Dish assembly support:** Assisting in final dish presentation and restocking supplies as needed.
