Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on the vessel’s mechanical systems, ensuring operational reliability, maritime operational safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. Works collaboratively with the Engine Department team to guarantee the proper functioning of equipment essential for navigation and offshore operations. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform maintenance on engines, pumps, compressors, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical equipment aboard the vessel. * Conduct routine operational inspections of machinery and equipment, documenting anomalies and implementing corrective actions. * Participate in operational testing and commissioning of equipment. * Carry out alignment, adjustments, assembly, and disassembly of mechanical components. * Complete checklists, maintenance reports, work orders, and other records required by the Integrated Management System (IMS). * Maintain up-to-date records of equipment operating hours to support maintenance scheduling. * Support identification of critical failures and report them to the Onshore technical team. * Strictly comply with SMS requirements, including internal procedures, PT (Permit to Work), risk analysis (JSA), and applicable DPC, IMO, and NORMAM regulations. * Correctly use PPE and collective protection equipment (CPE), and proactively identify hazards and prevent accidents. * Collaborate in internal training and knowledge transfer to the team. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Technical degree in Mechanics (preferably with active CFT certification). * Prior experience in vessel maintenance (FSV, PSV, Crewboat). * Knowledge of the maritime support segment. * Valid CBSP certificate. **Additional Information** Work schedule: 14x14 Benefits: * Health and dental insurance * Food allowance * Meal voucher * Private pension plan * Life insurance * Employee assistance programs (Meu Amigo Doutor and Use Vida) We are a Brazilian shipping company (EBN) operating along the entire Brazilian coastline and, since 2011, providing offshore maritime support services to the oil & gas industry.
