A joint venture between the Austrian company Lenzing and the Brazilian company Dexco, located in the Triângulo Mineiro region. We have an annual production capacity of 500,000 tons of soluble cellulose and generate 144 MW of clean energy. Learn more about this position and submit your application!** **Your responsibilities:** Operate the control panel in the utilities area (Chemical Plant, Intake, Emission, Water Treatment, and Effluent Treatment), ensuring equipment operating conditions to guarantee process continuity and availability, adhering to safety, environmental, quality, and cost standards. Support other area operators during operational maneuvers and inherent process tasks, reporting to the shift coordinator and technical assistant. **Responsibilities and duties** **Learn more about your activities:** * Operate the control panel, monitoring one of the production processes within the Utilities area during your shift, observing flow and established procedures, making necessary adjustments according to requirements, guiding field teams, reviewing quality test results, and monitoring safety control points to ensure operation complies with established standards; * Operate and monitor the process, maintaining and tracking temperatures, levels, flow rates, and pressures of systems via readings on the control panel, regulating feed and other variables to ensure operational quality; * Observe safety standards in the production process, monitoring defined technical limits and procedures, informing Area Operators of any deviations to prevent accidents and safeguard employees’ physical integrity; * Ensure proper equipment functioning through inspections, requesting repairs for equipment requiring maintenance; * Assist in planning and supporting emergency, sectional, and annual shutdowns across Utilities areas; * Inform your immediate supervisor of process deviations to identify corrective actions and optimize resource utilization; * Control operations in your area to prevent discharge of liquid or gaseous effluents beyond environmental license specifications and company-defined parameters; * Carry out activities in accordance with responsibilities outlined in operational, quality, environmental, and occupational safety procedures and instructions; * Contribute to positive team relationships and performance by documenting attention points and deviations occurring during your shift, correctly communicating deviations during shift handovers to ensure your immediate supervisor and other stakeholders receive necessary information to support decision-making for smooth production — whether related to quality, volume, costs, safety, or environment; * Act as a facilitator to ensure all corrective and preventive maintenance is performed on equipment, systems, and facilities; inspect the production area, identify failures and anomalies, correct them, record them, and inform other responsible parties outside your scope of action; * Keep your work area clean and organized, respecting environmental conditions, following specific procedures and schedules for task execution, and maintaining your PPE in good condition, cleaned, and stored appropriately; * Effectively contribute to achieving the organization’s global goals within your scope of responsibility; * Execute necessary lockout/tagout procedures for maintenance during general, scheduled, and unscheduled shutdowns to ensure the safety and physical integrity of all personnel involved; * Maintain safety standards in the production process, monitoring defined technical limits and procedures, informing your immediate supervisor of any deviations to prevent accidents and safeguard other employees’ physical integrity; * Guide trainee operators using operational, environmental, and safety procedures to ensure proper learning; * Uphold the Code of Ethics; * Comply with applicable legislation, company rules, and regulations; * Safeguard company assets and resources; * Perform other related duties as determined by your immediate supervisor and based on department/company needs. **Requirements and qualifications** **What we expect from you:** * Completed Technical Education (Pulp & Paper and/or related fields) or completed Higher Education (Engineering degree and/or related fields); * Prior experience working in companies with utility operations; * Valid Brazilian Driver’s License – Category B; * Minimum experience as Level III Area Operator. **Additional information** **What we offer:** Health insurance; Dental insurance; Meal and food vouchers (used on-site); Gympass; Free chartered transportation for employees; Profit Sharing Plan (PLR); Emotional, social, financial, legal counseling and incident support (ACOLHER Program); Pharmacy discount plan (optional); Private pension plan (optional); Life insurance (optional); Discounts on Dexco products (Deca, Portinari, Hydra, Ceusa, Durafloor…); Discounts on SESI/MG schools; Discounts on technical courses, undergraduate, graduate, master’s, and doctoral programs offered by various institutions; Discounts on clubs and water parks; * And much more! **Apply now to our selection process. Located in the Triângulo Mineiro region, between the municipalities of Araguari and Indianópolis, the factory has an annual production capacity of 500,000 tons and will use raw material sourced exclusively from 100% certified forests. Forest areas utilized by the company will feature robust infrastructure for monitoring and protection. All soluble cellulose produced will be exported to Lenzing’s factories, where it will be transformed into low-environmental-impact fiber for use in yarns and textiles for clothing, as well as other applications such as wet wipes, facial masks, and hygiene products.
